Lampasas historic homes made for ideal bed & breakfast spots, spas, restaurants, offices, antique stores, and boutiques. You can visit a lot of them by just walking around the downtown area. Here are a few you can drive by or make appointments to visit.

In 1856, J.L.N. Gracy, one of Lampasas’s earliest settlers, built the Gracy Hotel as the stagecoach stop for the Austin Stage. A wing of 10 rooms was added in 1870 and an addtional wing was added in 1931. It was renamed the Keystone Hotel in 1926

Built in 1902 by John Smith as a Queen Anne victorian home for his lady Rebecca. It now serves as Lampasas’ own porch pickin’ spot for local songwriters and a private event space.

The Second Empire style courthouse, completed in 1884, is the design of W.C. Dodson.

The building survived several natural disasters and now serves as a focal point for our beautifully almost-fully-restored downtown Lampasas
